Modules: Getting the Decompile and Compact context menu options

Author(s)
Dev Ashish

Many of us have created Batch files in the "SendTo" folder to automatically compact and decompile the database by right-clicking on database file in Windows Explorer and selecting "SendTo/YourBatchFile" in the context menu.

However, by registering two new commands in the registry via a REG file, we can get the Decompile and Compact options directly in the right click context menu.

       Download AccessReg.Reg

Double click on this file in Explorer so that the entries are registered by Windows.  You should now have the options available.

Note: If you've installed Microsoft Access in a non-default location, make sure that you specify the correct location in the Reg file.
